The Post

This is a permanent, full-time post to teach Mathematics to all ages and abilities up to A Level.  Chew Valley School is a highly successful comprehensive school graded Good by Ofsted at the last inspection.  Please visit the school website for further information about the school including a visual prospectus which will, I hope, give applicants a better understanding of the range of opportunities here for staff and students which make school life so successful and enjoyable.  You will be joining an enthusiastic, vibrant and forward-thinking Department. The successful applicant will teach a balanced timetable across year groups and the ability range. 

The core aim of the Maths Department is to provide excellent teaching in a supportive environment for every student.  You will join a team of teachers determined to make a difference to the achievements of young people. The Department consists of nine specialist mathematicians who all teach across the age and ability range.
